  São Paulo-SP
Attractions Events Photos Hotels Country Info

The city was founded in the middle of the 16th century, on a secure plateau on St. Paul's feast day. Visitors can see few vestiges of those gone days in this fast-growing and ultra-sophisticated metropolis. The "big São Paulo" is the most important industrial and economic center of Brazil, headquarters of multinational subsidiaries and Brazil's "trade center". But you can visit either a very cosmopolitan São Paulo or if you prefer, a more regional São Paulo: both of them live together in the heart of its people. It is also the largest city in South America and the sitxh largest in the world.
